Don’t stoop to their level. Be bigger by being stronger. Hold your tongue and stand resilient as they make a mockery of themselves.
Correct your judgements. We all have them. But knowledge and compassion are the keys to squashing them.
Give from what you’re given. Even if it’s just 2.5%. You’re no better than anyone.
Instead of proving anything to anyone else, prove it to yourself first.
Do at least a little of what makes you happy.
Don’t ever lie.
And as much as you hate to be told this; smile more. To the woman who was just told to go back to her country. To the elderly man visiting his best friend at the hospital. To the baby in the green stroller. And hopefully they’ll smile back.
